Paula Morgan


Paula Morgan is a lecturer in the Faculty of Humanities and Education and an associate of the Center for Gender and Development Studies, the University of the West Indies, St Augustine. She currently coordinates the graduate programme in Cultural Studies; her primary focus of research, teaching and publication has been gender issues in the literatures of the Caribbean and the African Diaspora. She has authored Language Profi ciency for Tertiary Level (1998) and Writing about Literature with Barbara Lalla (2005). Her most recent book length publications are Caribbean Literature in a Global Context, an edited collection with Funso Aiyejina (2006) and Writing Rage: Violence in Caribbean Discourse with Valerie Youssef (2006).
